Playing Catanist

Catanist provides browser-based board games for personal enjoyment. Play fairly, respect other players, and keep your account credentials private. Do not use the service to harass others, post unlawful content, exploit bugs, bypass access restrictions or disrupt games.

Rooms, bots and availability

Hosts choose room settings. Public games can be watched; private rooms require an invitation. When enabled, bots may take over disconnected players after a grace period. Reconnecting with the same identity returns control. Rooms may be removed after host departure under the game’s lifecycle rules. Service availability and uninterrupted game sessions are not guaranteed.

Moderation

The operator may restrict accounts or remove content to address abuse, security issues or violations of these terms. Keep chat appropriate for the people at your table.

Optional support

Developer donations are voluntary, one-time payments through Stripe. They do not purchase game advantages, premium status or a subscription. Check the amount and currency before paying. Contact the operator about payment problems or refund requests; applicable statutory rights are unaffected.

Game names and rights

CATAN and related names belong to their respective rights holders. Catanist is not presented as an official CATAN service. Do not upload or share material you have no right to use.

Changes and your rights

Features and these terms may change as the game develops. Material updates will be reflected on this page.
